Basseterre, St. Kitts (Public Infrastructure News) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) regrets to inform the general public of a service interruption affecting New Road, St. Peters on Friday, February 13, 2026.
WSD officials say that the interruption is necessary to accommodate critical maintenance work meant to facilitate connectivity between wells in the Basseterre Valley and St. Peters.
At 3 p.m. on Friday, officials indicated that water service was expected to be restored by 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 14.
The Department is asking all customers impacted by the interruption to visit the official WSD channels, including this one, for updates. Visit mopieudt.gov.kn and water.gov.kn, or follow the WSD on Facebook for more information.
The WSD sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience this may cause and assures all affected customers that the Department remains committed to restoring service as swiftly as possible.
