Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) will perform routine activities in various locations today as it continues its work to maintain and improve the water infrastructure.
The team will pump water from Basseterre to the South East Peninsula to ensure that the area has a steady water supply.
The team will repair ruptured pipes in Shadwell West, Camps, Sandy Point, and Newton Ground and clean the intakes in Stone Fort and Franklands and the pump station in The Valley as it continues to ensure the water supply meets quality standards.
The WSD informs customers in these areas that service may be interrupted temporarily to accommodate its activities and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
