Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) wishes to inform the general public of its activities scheduled for Thursday, May 8, 2025.
The team will repair pipes in Shadwell Housing, Frigate Bay, Boyds, and Old Road, and clean the Stone Fort intake and the desalination line to Morne Peak, to ensure that the water flowing through the network continues to satisfy all applicable water quality standards. Additionally, there will be scheduled maintenance in Tabernacle, where the team will remove the pump for inspection and servicing. Accordingly, customers in some locations may observe water service interruptions throughout the day.
The WSD sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience the interruptions may cause and commits to restoring service to all affected areas as soon as possible. If protracted interruptions become likely, the WSD will issue relevant updates via all accessible channels.
